Good morning, everyone! I hope you have all been enjoying a lovely holiday season so far, and that you are enjoying every moment of the remaining year.

Some of you might have been wondering where I have been since the summer months; the blog went on a temporary hiatus due to deaths in the family and nonstop traveling to help family members get through this trying time. I've tried to keep a few posts going despite my absence, so I will recap those below. Even though you were unaware of the reason behind my absence, I thank all of you for patiently awaiting my return.

Despite the loss of loved ones, the holidays have been a joyous time for my own little family. This is the first year my daughter (5 years old) has been completely over the top excited about Thanksgiving and Christmas! Seeing the joy in her eyes and decorating the house with her has brought back memories that make me feel like a child as well. Lol, she wasn't too thrilled about helping me write 50+ Christmas cards, though.

Well, today marks the official return of The Muse in the Fog Book Review, so let's turn our attention to the book blogging world.

Recent reviews:

Thankfully I have managed to read a few books over the past few months, so here are the
Upcoming reviews:

  • Mr. Darcy Vampire by Amanda Grange
  • The King's Damsel by Kate Emerson
  • The King's Agent by Donna Russo Morin
  • Her Highness, the Traitor by Susan Higginbotham
  • Before Versailles by Karleen Koen
  • Silent Night by Deanna Raybourn
  • The Last Romanov by Dora Levy Mossanen

Well, that about sums it up for right now. Keep checking back for new reviews, giveaways, interviews and so much more. And don't forget to add your Suddenly Sunday link below; I would love to stop by and see what you've been up to!

Have a great week & happy reading!

Welcome back :) Isn't it wonderful to see the holidays through the eyes of a child? My kids are grown and my grandchild is 17 months so it will be a couple of years before I can do that again.
