Suddenly Sunday

Suddenly Sunday is a weekly event hosted by Svea@ The Muse in the Fog Book Review. The purpose of Suddenly Sunday is to share all the exciting events that have occurred on your blog throughout the week.
--------------

Good afternoon everyone! How has your Sunday been so far? I am so very happy that the weather this past week has finally reflected the season. There is nothing I love more than curling up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee on a rainy day... of course I have to finish my homework first (she says as she is neglecting it while blogging). Speaking of school, how are there only 5 weeks left?! I just found out that I will have to do a presentation in my American Lit class instead of a written final exam; I've chosen to do mine on Edgar Allan Poe's The Purloined Letter. Have any of you read The Purloined Letter? Well, I guess it's time to sum up what's been going on here at The Muse in the Fog Book Review:

Reviewed:
The Women of the Cousin's War
by Phillipa Gregory, David Baldwin, and Michael Jones.

I Began Reading:

The September Queen
by Gillian Bagwell

I am once again a participant of NaNoWrMo. Last year was my first attempt at this writing challenge and I failed miserably, but this year I plan to fail to a lesser degree, lol. I doubt with my current schedule I will be able to complete all 50,000 words, but as long as I surpass last years word count I am happy. If you are interested in NaNoWrMo, or are already a participant and want to add me as a writing buddy, here is the link: http://www.nanowrimo.org/

Sunday's Spontaneous Question:
As a new feature on my Suddenly Sunday posts I will be asking a weekly question just for fun :)

What's your favorite reading location and/or setting?

My favorite setting is definitely a rainy day, or at night when I can dim the lights and turn on the fireplace. As far as location I am yet to find a favorite go to place, but I hope to transform my little office/library into a cozy nook soon.

Have a great week everyone & happy reading!

Best of luck with NaNoWrMo, sounds like you have a big workload, but I like your attitude "this year I plan to fail to a lesser degree" LOL

I finished The Song of the Nile last week and absolutely loved it!
I don't know anything about The September Queen so I'll have to check it out.

It depends on the weather for me. In the summer or rainy days I love to lounge on my settee by the window. During super cold days (and at night, of course) I love to snuggle down in my comfy bed. ^.^

That was one poem I haven't read by him....yet. I love that guy. ^.^
