Suddenly Sunday

Since The Sunday Salon is closed to new members, I have created my own weekly event of Suddenly Sunday! Feel free to join in the fun, just link back to this blog :)
-----

Good morning everyone! I hope you have all had a wonderful week and relaxing weekend. As I write this post and reflect on this past week, I once again am in shock that it is yet another Sunday. Not only is it just Sunday, but the last Sunday in March! There are so many things that I need accomplish this week (besides my crazy reading schedule) since Easter is only a week away. Even though this week might be hectic, it will all be worth it on Easter morning to see how excited my daughter is. She's now 2 1/2 so this will be the first Easter she kind of understands :)

This week, I posted two reviews:
The Highest Stakes by Emery Lee
O, Juliet by Robin Maxwell
In addition to my review of The Highest Stakes, Emery Lee was kind enough to bestow Confessions and Ramblings of a Muse in the Fog with an enlightening guest post which you can read here:

My mailbox was happy once again with a couple books for review:

You might have noticed toward the top of my blog, there are now tabs! They are still a work in progress but after a few more tweaks, they should be a delightful and helpful addition.

It has come to my attention that the comment feature for my posts has not been working 100%. I have gone back through my settings and hopefully fixed the problem, so please comment away everyone :)

It has been another fun and eventful week over at HFBRT! They just wrapped up their "Elizabeth Chadwick's The Scarlet Lion" event yesterday. As usual, there were creative posts, giveaways and an excellent interview with Elizabeth Chadwick. If you have not had the opportunity to see everything this event entailed, you can visit their website: historicalfictionroundtable.com.
And if you still cant get enough of The Scarlet Lion, here is my review: The Scarlet Lion by Elizabeth Chadwick

Don't forget to enter in my giveaway for one signed copy of Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran and an authentic Roman coin! Hurry the giveaway ends March 29th @ 11:59PM.

Have a excellent week everyone and happy reading!

This will be a fun Easter for you. Will you be doing an egg hunt? Hope the weather is beautiful for it if you do. Time has flown by so quickly. I can't believe this month is over.
Here's my Suddenly Sunday

Oh my, I didn't realize Easter was so close! I love all the colorful candy isles in the stores. Which also means... there aren't any more colorful holidays until Halloween left! :(

Time is certainly flying. I can't believe that April is at our doorstep already.

I've had trouble with commenting but yours wasn't the only one so assumed it was my computer.

No SS from me this week as Georgette Heyer came to visit but I'll be back next time.

Hope you have a great week and your little daughter has a wonderful Easter - children do make these celebrations special.

Easter is great with little ones! We will be in TN this year but I bought my son a basket to hide in our room and hopefully they'll have an egg hunt or something while we're there.

My SS is here: http://bippityboppitybook.blogspot.com/2010/03/suddenly-sunday_28.html

I agree, the time just flies by for me. I have just realized that today is Palm Sunday! I am happy because Easter always marks for me the beginning of long days and warm spring, and nights leading us to summer (all the things I love. I'm looking forward to your review of Claude & Camille as I wanted to read this book myself and I'm curious what others opinion on it is.

2 1/2 is a GREAT age! She's going to have a blast egg hunting. Unfortunately, my daughter will be at her grandmother's in Florida for Easter, but she's 13 and unless the eggs are filled with money I can't see her wanting to have a hunt ;-)

Thanks for mentioning the Round Table event...it was a lot of fun working with Elizabeth Chadwick. I am very much looking forward to our April event which is in a few weeks and is highlighting Claude and Camille, which I see you got for review. It's such a wonderful book!

Thanks for starting this meme and thanks for stopping by and commenting on my first one! I just adore the button and like the pages you made!

Have a great week and see you next Sunday!

Congrats on your WIN at the HFBRT!!! =)
Awesomeness for you, and thanks for linking us!
I really enjoyed Claude and Camille, so I hope you are reading that now and you can follow along the next event we have coming up might soon.

I am going to be so late the night before Easter. Sigh. But it's worth the toddler's excitement in the morning.

My Sunday post is here .. Take care!

Your button for Suddenly Sunday is so much prettier than Sunday Salon's... This is tempting me to switch haha. You had lots of great posts this week and I have somehow missed them! Will go back and read.

Hi, Muse! I didn't get much reading done this week as I had a very bad case of spring fever....the weather was gorgeous, so I used that time to work in my garden and decorate for Easter. Have a wonderful week, and I know it will be fun as your little one enjoys Easter.

Easter is the best holiday simply for its candy. I'm always sad to see the Cadbury mini-eggs disappear from the stores.

My Bella sounds like she's almost exactly one year older than your Bella. She'll have so much fun with Easter this year- holidays are sooo much fun now! Have a great week!

Hope you have a wonderful Easter with your daughter. I remember my daughter's first Easter, we used a stuffed bunny and baby powder to make bunny footprints for her to follow through the house to find her eggs. Such fun, now she's 23, so it's not quite the same, but I still have an 11 year old son and he still gets a kick out of Easter.
