In honor of all the excitement about the release of Robin Maxwell's O, Juliet tomorrow; I have decided to interrupt Jean-Honoré Fragonard's The Progress of Love panel series this Monday in order to post one of my favorite Romeo and Juliet paintings.

Very beautiful! I'm just trying to catch up on my google reading, and I must say so many of these "queenly" historicals have such beautiful covers! So hard to choose.
